This newspaper, Beijing, March 25th (Reporter Liu Zhiqiang, Xin Yang) On March 25th, the 307,000-ton new generation ultra-large oil tanker "Junwang" built by Dalian Shipbuilding was delivered ahead of schedule.
The "Junwang" ship was independently developed and designed by Dalian Shipbuilding, with a length of about 333 meters, a width of 60 meters, and a deck area of over 18,000 square meters; a depth of 30 meters, from the bottom of the ship to the bridge is nearly 20 stories high; the total coating area exceeds 540,000 square meters, equivalent to the area of 76 standard football fields.
The "Junwang" ship innovatively adopts a 6-cylinder main engine, specifically using high-efficiency propellers, pre-propeller energy-saving devices, and integrated vortex fin design, and installs exhaust gas desulfurization devices. The comprehensive energy-saving effect and environmental protection level have been significantly improved, saving about 35 million yuan in fuel costs annually. The ship has good port and channel applicability and can load over 2 million barrels of crude oil at a design draft of 20.5 meters.
