【Description】
This product is a light yellow or yellow clear liquid.
【Pharmacological effects】
Pharmacodynamics This product has repellent activity against Fasciola，Haemonchus contortus and some arthropods in cattle and sheep, but it is ineffective for Paramphistomes. For most gastrointestinal nematodes, such as haemonchus, bunostomum, oesophagostomum, the removal rate exceeded 90%. Some strains of haemonchus contortus in goats can develop resistance to this product. Closantel Sodium is effective in removing dog hookworm, but not in larvae in vivo. It can also prevent or reduce common strongyloides infection in horses. In addition, it had 100% killing effect on the first, second and third stages’ sheep nose maggots, and also had a better killing effect on the third stage of hypoderma larvae. Its anti-insect mechanism is to increase the permeability of parasite mitochondria, uncoupling oxidative phosphorylation, and thus play a repellent role.
Pharmacokinetics Closantel Sodium has a high plasma protein binding rate (> 99%) in sheep, resulting in an elimination half-life of 14.5 days. The drug is mainly excreted in the stool (80%), and less than 0.5% of the drug is excreted in the urine.
【Drug interaction】
Iodosalamine chloride can be used in combination with benzimidazole or levamisole.
【Function and Use】
Antiparasitic drugs. It is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of liver fascioliasis, gastrointestinal nematode disease and sheep nose myiasis.
【Usage and Dosage】 Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection: One dose , cattle 0.05～0.1ml Per 1kg of body weight and sheep 0.1～0.2ml Per 1kg of body weight
【Adverse reactions】
No adverse reactions have been seen according to the prescribed usage and dosage.
【Notes】
There is a certain irritation to the injection site.

28 days for cattle and sheep ; Milk is abanded for 28 hours after dosing.
