The China-Europe Railway Express at the Guangzhou Eastern Intermodal Transport Hub Has Recorded a Strong Start to the Year.

According to Huangpu Customs on the 13th, in January-February this year, the China-Europe freight trains at the Guangzhou Eastern Rail-Road Intermodal Hub (Zengcheng West Station) operated 60 trains, totaling 5,982 containers, with year-on-year increases of 25% and 21%, respectively, maintaining a leading position within Guangdong Province.

　　It is introduced that the Guangzhou Eastern Rail-Road Intermodal Hub, as the largest and highest-standard production service national logistics hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, has now opened 14 outbound routes and 8 return routes, reaching 34 cities in 17 countries across Europe, Central Asia, and ASEAN regions.

　　To help international trains "run" with New Year's "acceleration," Zengcheng Customs encourages local advantageous manufacturing industries such as clothing and automobiles to connect with the international train logistics resources at Zengcheng West Station, deeply tapping into the potential of local cargo supply. They lead the establishment of a three-party interaction platform involving local government, stations, and enterprises, attracting well-known e-commerce platforms like TEMU to settle in, assisting in the regular operation of "e-commerce special trains."

　　In response to the customs clearance needs for concentrated train dispatch during the Spring Festival, Zengcheng Customs proactively understands the train dispatch plans during the Spring Festival holiday and follows up on enterprise stocking and consolidation situations. They coordinate with railway and platform companies in advance regarding cabin space, car boards, and dispatch plans to jointly address the logistics peak during the holiday, ensuring trains depart on time. During the Spring Festival holiday, the customs ensured the dispatch of 11 China-Europe trains, 1,210 containers, with a cargo value of 230 million yuan, with year-on-year increases of 22%, 22%, and 10%, respectively.
