Angus bull

The Angus cattle originated in the Aberdeen and Angus regions of northern Scotland, UK. China began introducing Angus cattle from the UK and Australia in 1974. Currently, this breed is distributed worldwide. They exhibit excellent weight gain performance, strong adaptability to various environments, tolerance to coarse feed, cold resistance, disease resistance, calm temperament, and ease of management. Their estrus cycle is about 20 days, gestation period approximately 279 days, with good reproductive performance and a high calving rate of up to 95%, while dystocia is extremely rare.
