PVC production and plant operating rate in February 2023

In February 2023, the domestic PVC production reached 1.7893 million tons, down 6.51% month-on-month while up 1.98% year-on-year. Among them, the production of calcium carbide method was 1.3909 million tons, down 5.40% month-on-month and 3.03% year-on-year. The production of ethylene method was 0.3984 million tons, down 10.19% month-on-month while up 28.81% year-on-year. PVC production accumulated at 3.732 million tons from January to February.
