Can waste PVC plastic be recycled?

PVC 是合成材料中五大通用合成树脂之一，其产量仅次于聚乙烯，居第二位。目前我国PVC 软制品占 45%、硬制品占 55%，其中硬制品的消费比逐年上升。PVC 是目前世界上使用最广泛的塑料之一，广泛应用于建筑业、包装材料、家庭日用品及汽车工业。虽然过去十几 年，因为塑料对环境的污染问题，有关是否应该禁用 PVC 的争论非常多，然而，PVC 的产量仍然在不断增长。

PVC is one of the five general synthetic resins in synthetic materials, and its output ranks second only to polyethylene. At present, China's PVC soft products account for 45% and hard products for 55%, of which the consumption ratio of hard products is increasing year by year. PVC is one of the most widely used plastics in the world. It is widely used in the construction industry, packaging materials, household necessities and automobile industry. Although there have been many debates about whether PVC should be banned due to the pollution of plastics to the environment in the past ten years, the production of PVC is still growing.

现在，有关 PVC 对环境问题影响的讨论越来越客观，特别是由于石油资源的日趋枯竭，PVC 甚至变得更有吸引力，因为与此相比，PVCC 合成原料只有一半来自石油，另一半则来自于丰富的矿石。但是 PVC 的回收课题和对环境的潜在影响并没有解决，在许多场合对 PVC 的限用仍然存在。因此，对PVC 的应用发展和回收问题，仍然必须加以重视。

At present, the discussion on the impact of PVC on environmental issues is becoming more and more objective, especially because of the depletion of oil resources, PVC has become even more attractive, because compared with this, only half of PVCC synthetic raw materials come from oil, and the other half comes from rich minerals. However, the recovery of PVC and its potential impact on the environment have not been resolved, and the use of PVC is still limited in many occasions. Therefore, it is still necessary to pay attention to the application development and recovery of PVC.

目前PVC塑料回收利用的方法主要有：

（2）废塑料作为燃料回收热能 Waste plastics as fuel heat energy

（3）废塑料取代焦炭作为炼铁的还原剂 

Waste plastics replace coke as reducing agent in ironmaking

（4）裂解生产燃料油 Production of fuel oil by cracking
